I was born and raised in Seward, Ak. Where I now I teach at Seward Middle School. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Science w/a minor in International Studies from the University of Denver. Then I completed a Masters of Arts in Teaching at the University of Southeast Alaska.
I have been teaching in the Seward area since 2006. During that time I have taught high school chemistry, marine biology, algebra, alternative ed, environmental, life and physical sciences. I also worked with the district homeschool program, Connections as the teacher/advisor. Since 2012 I have been at Seward Middle School. In 2018 I was honored with receiving a BP teacher of excellence for the KPBSD.
My passions in life are my family, cooking, snow sports, hiking, exercising, and yoga. I love watching comic book movies, Star Wars and cartoons. I thoroughly enjoy being active and cooking with my family, friends and students.
